Premier League giants Manchester United are ready to step up the club’s pursuit of a key summer transfer target, according to reports.
The player in question? Adrien Rabiot.
The subject of midfielder Rabiot’s future has long taken its place centre stage in the transfer headlines across Europe.
This comes as the French international’s terms with Serie A heavyweights Juventus continue to inch towards conclusion.
Juve, for their part, are understood to be keen to tie Rabiot down to a new deal, but reports in Italy have long pointed towards the 28-year-old eyeing a new challenge.

And, as alluded to above, one club keen to take advantage of Rabiot’s potentially imminent availability comes in the form of Manchester United.
This comes owing to a direct push on the part of Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag.
Ten Hag is understood to have made Rabiot’s signing an ‘important objective’, with direct negotiations between the Dutchman and midfielder now well underway.
Despite rival interest on the part of Newcastle, Man United are therefore viewed as the clear favourites to strike a deal for the Juventus star.
