Manchester United star singled out for criticism during Leicester clash

Manchester United and Leicester faced off in a Premier League match on Sunday afternoon.

United head into the game having recently picked up a 2-0 win over Leeds.

This saw the Red Devils climb to within just five points of top spot. However, Arsenal do have a game in hand and picked up a 4-2 win over Aston Villa on Saturday to move eight points clear of Manchester United.

So, United need three points this weekend to remain in the title race.

And at the time of writing, Manchester United are 1-0 up.

Leicester began the match on top, cutting through Manchester United’s midfield and defence with relative ease.

Leicester had the first big chance of the game eight minutes in. Harvey Barnes picked up the ball near the halfway line and played a one-two with Iheanacho to get through on goal but David de Gea made a big stop.

But despite United being battered for the opening 24 minutes, Marcus Rashford put the home side 1-0 up.

And though Man United have now taken the lead, Luke Shaw has come in for heavy criticism online for his first-half display, with just some of the reaction shown below:
