Arsenal kick off their pre-season tour of the USA on Thursday when they take on an MLS All-Star XI, which will be managed by Wayne Rooney.
The pre-season tour will allow Mikel Arteta to take a close look at his squad and make decisions on exits.
One player likely being watched closely by Arteta this summer and also apparently by Martin Odegaard is Folarin Balogun:
“Just happy to see him do well. Last year in France, he had a great season,” Odegaard said on Balogun.
“He’s a big talent, the boy works hard, very hungry to improve all the time. Yeah, just happy for him and excited to see him again in the games now. Hopefully, he can do well and score some goals.”
Folarin Balogun has made 10 appearances for the Gunners’ senior side, scoring two goals in the process.
2022/23 then saw Balogun loaned to Stade Reims for the full campaign. During his time in France, the 21-year-old scored 20 and assisted three in 35 Ligue 1 outings.
