Chelsea star Mason Mount, on Sunday, has etched his name into the fabled history books in west London.
England international Mount, of course, has seen his name take its place centre stage in the headlines over the course of the evening to date.
This comes with the gifted midfielder having proven match-winner for Graham Potter’s troops in a Premier League meeting with Aston Villa.
After being labelled a major injury doubt in the days prior, Mount was nevertheless afforded his latest starting berth at Villa Park.
And to say that he subsequently went on to justify his inclusion would be something of an understatement.
En route to an eventual 2-0 Chelsea triumph, the Cobham academy product bagged both goals, amid a superb all-round display:

Mount’s two goals on Sunday saw the Englishman join ex-Blues talisman Eden Hazard in a special club.
As per statisticians Opta, Mount has now found the net on a total of 25 occasions in the Premier League whilst in Chelsea’s colours.
At 23 years and 279 days old, the midfielder has therefore established himself as the 2nd youngest player to ever reach such a mark for the capital giants.
The only individual to have managed as much at a younger age comes in the form of Belgian icon Hazard, who hit the quarter-century mark at 23 years and 271 days.
