Former Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has, on Friday, spoken out over the ongoing speculation linking Harry Kane with a move to Germany, with Bayern Munich.
The Bundesliga champions, of course, are widely expected to seek out reinforcements at centre-forward ahead of next season.
This comes with those in a position of power at the Allianz Arena, despite the stellar goalscoring stretch being enjoyed by Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting over the early months of the campaign, evidently of the opinion that the hole left by Robert Lewandowski’s departure is yet to be sufficiently filled.
Kane, widely recognised as one of world football’s best centre-forwards, has therefore been tipped as one potential arrival in Bavaria.

Any such move, though, would mark nothing short of a hammer blow for Tottenham, dependent on the Englishman for the bulk of their goalscoring needs for the best part of a decade now.
Speaking to the media on Friday, one individual with first-hand experience in overseeing Kane’s efforts in north London was therefore drawn on the prospect of the 29-year-old taking his talents to Germany.
And the ensuing response on Pochettino’s part will no doubt come as a source of great comfort for those of a Lilywhites persuasion.
This comes with the Argentine having been quick to highlight both Kane’s ‘attachment’ to his home country, and desire to eclipse Alan Shearer as the Premier League’s all-time leading goalscorer:

“[A move to Bayern] would only happen if Harry changed his way of thinking. He’s very attached to England and his country. He wants to be the Premier League’s all-time top scorer. That’s his goal.” #THFC pic.twitter.com/vO4v7kCKUL
