Mikel Arteta spoke to the media on Friday afternoon ahead of Arsenalβs Community Shield clash with Manchester City.
Arsenal head into the game looking to get one over on the Sky Blues after they beat the Gunners to the Premier League title last season.
Arsenal have spent around Β£200m so far this summer as they look to close the gap on Pep Guardiolaβs side.
Ahead of Sundayβs game, Mikel Arteta was asked to provide an update on the injured Gabriel Jesus and said: βHeβs fine. Heβs obviously disappointed because he was feeling good and then this issue came up. Nobody expected that we would need to do it.β
The Spaniard then gave a brief update on Bukayo Saka, who had picked up a slight issue but is seemingly fine now: βYeah Bukayo is much better, he trained today.β
Arteta also provided an insight into how Arsenal will use Kai Havertz. When asked what the Germanβs best position is, he replied: βWell heβs played the majority at the moment as an attacking midfielder. We will see. The team gives you a lot of information every day and some connections that you didnβt expect. Itβs natural.β
