The agent of Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has, on Thursday, responded to the fresh speculation surrounding his client’s future.
For those who may have missed it, the subject of Salah’s plans beyond the summer came back to the fore in a major way earlier this afternoon.
This came amid surprise claims in the French media that the Egyptian had held discussions, over a potential move away from Anfield.
Targeted by the hierarchy at Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain – desperate to make a splash ahead of the potential exits of all of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar – Salah, it was claimed, met with Nasser Al-Khelaifi to talk over the merits of a move to the Parc des Princes.
The pair, it was suggested, convened in Morocco, after remaining in constant contact since last December’s Qatar World Cup.

Any of a Liverpool persuasion expressing concern over the possibility of their side’s attacking talisman moving on, however, need not fret.
Responding to a Twitter post from Get French Football News, centering on the ‘meeting’ in question, Ramy Abbas Issa left little to the imagination, in assuring that:
‘No, he did not. That’s the short story.’
