Previous comments on the part of Brighton & Hove Albion star Moises Caicedo, regarding a potential move to Manchester United, have come back to the fore online late on Saturday night.

This, of course, comes amid fresh links between the Ecuadorian, and United.

For those who may have missed it, media reports this evening have pointed towards the powers that be at Old Trafford giving serious consideration to stepping up their long-standing interest in Caicedo.

The 21-year-old is widely expected to be on the move before the summer is out, with Chelsea considered as favourites to strike a deal.

After the Blues’ refusal to budge on Mason Mount’s valuation culminated in the transfer team at Old Trafford pulling the plug on their pursuit of the England international, however, the attentions of Erik ten Hag and co. have now shifted back towards Caicedo.

And this change in focus, as alluded to above, has seen past comments made by the Brighton sensation come back to the fore across social media.

Prior to taking his talents to England’s south coast, Caicedo revealed his ‘dream’ landing spot – none other than Manchester United.

The 32-time capped international views former Red Devils star Antonio Valencia as an inspiration, ‘motivating’ Caicedo to one day take his talents to Old Trafford.
