Newcastle United were dealt an injury blow over the international break as Alexander Isak picked up a knock whilst with Sweden.
The striker suffered a thigh injury in training, raising concerns on Tyneside as to how long he will be absent.
However, following a scan, Eddie Howe has revealed positive news regarding the striker.
Howe: “We’re not overly concerned it’s a long injury”

Howe claims that Newcastle are not concerned the 23-year-old will be missing for long.
The club are likely to be cautious though with rushing him back due to it being a muscle injury.
Howe revealed: “He picked up an injury training with Sweden but the scan doesn’t look too bad.
“With any muscle injury there’s a period where you have to be careful.
“He’s out running on the grass and is looking good.”
Isak has made a promising start to his time at St James’ Park netting 2 goals in his first 3 Premier League appearances.
