Newcastle have confirmed the signing of Danish Under-21 striker William Osula from Sheffield United.
The 21-year-old is heading to Tyneside for a fee reported to be around £15million, despite only scoring three times in 31 appearances in Sheffield.
Osula made 21 Premier League appearances for the Blades last term as they were relegated back to the Championship.
Speaking for the first time as a Magpie, Osula said: “It’s a big club, a great club, so I’m very happy for the opportunity to join Newcastle United.
“It’s a great opportunity, and as soon as I heard about Newcastle’s interest, I knew I had to take the chance to join this club if it came.”
Manager Eddie Howe added: “William is a talented young forward with all the attributes to be an exciting player for Newcastle United.

Osula is Newcastle’s sixth signing of the summer and will join the team straight away with the new season starting in just over a week.
He joins Miodrag Pivas, Odysseas Vlachodimos, John Ruddy, Lloyd Kelly and Lewis Hall as new arrivals this summer.
