Newcastle United are bidding to win their first piece of major silverware in 68 years.

The Magpies have enjoyed a great season so far as they are also pushing to finish in the top four.

However, their form has curtailed over recent weeks with just one win in seven and just three scored during that run.

Eddie Howe’s side also face a very tough test at Wembley in Manchester United who are flying at the moment.

Nick Pope has dealt Newcastle a major blow as he is suspended for the final.

The goalkeeper was shown a straight red card against Liverpool.

Loris Karius is set to replace him with Martin Dúbravka cup-tied.

Bruno Guimarães

However, in better news for Newcastle, Bruno Guimarães is back from suspension.

The Brazilian has been a big miss in midfield for Eddie Howe’s team.

He was sent off against Southampton and has served a three-match ban.

Joe Willock

Joe Willock is also set to return for the Toon.

He has been struggling with a thigh injury.

He faces a race to be fit for Sunday but is expected to make it.

Joelinton

Joelinton is also struggling with a minor thigh problem.

The midfielder was forced off against Liverpool.

But it is not serious and he is expected to start against Man United.

Emil Krafth

Emil Krafth is out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury.
