Nicolò Zaniolo was strongly linked with moves to both Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur over the summer.
Following two frustrating seasons of injury, Zaniolo finally enjoyed a full campaign last term and became an important player for José Mourinho’s side.
His form earned him the admiration of some top clubs but he decided to stay and is now in talks over a new contract at AS Roma.

Zaniolo has suggested that he never thought about leaving the Italian club last summer.
The forward spoke about how much Roma means to him.
When asked about the possibility of signing a new deal, he seemed more than open to talks.
“It always seems that I’m on the verge of leaving AS Roma and then… I’m always here. This club gave me everything.
“New deal? We still have one year and a half to discuss it.”
