Premier League outfit Nottingham Forest have, late on Friday, sealed a high-profile deal for a fresh addition to the club’s playing ranks.
The latest player primed to link up with Steve Cooper’s troops? Danilo.
The name of midfield talent Danilo will of course be a familiar one to those of a Forest persuasion.
This comes with the 21-year-old having been hotly tipped for a move to the City Ground across the week to date.
After it was originally suggested that negotiations between the Reds’ board and their Palmeiras counterparts were being slowed by the former’s insistence on a loan agreement, a breakthrough was found upon Forest committing to a permanent transfer this month.
And now, late on Friday, a definitive deal has been struck.
The move is expected to set Evangelos Marinakis and co. back a sum in the region of €20 million.
