Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has penned a new contract at Old Trafford, that will see him remain at the club until 2027.
The Englishman has become a key part of sides under both Ralf Rangnick and now Erik ten Hag, and has made 22 Premier League starts this season.
And Shaw has grown into one of the more senior players in the squad, with the 27 year old having almost 250 appearances for the Red Devils under his belt.

His previous deal was due to expire in 2024, but he has confirmed that he has signed an extension with the club that will see him add another three years to his contract, keeping him in Manchester until almost 32.
“Nine years ago, I signed for this amazing club, and I’m thrilled to be extending my stay”, Shaw told the official Manchester United website. “I’ve grown immensely since coming to Manchester all those years ago, both as a person and as a player; I know what is needed to succeed at a club like this.”
“We’re at the beginning of our journey under the manager and his coaching staff. We’ve been successful already this season, but we want much more. There’s a great opportunity to create something special here, and I’m going to give everything to be part of that.”
“He has added leadership to his other outstanding abilities, and we all look forward to seeing him in a Manchester United shirt for years to come.”
