Arsenal are readying one departure and one arrival in the coming days, with teenage sensation Marcelo Flores set to depart on loan while a deal for Oleksandr Zinchenko is in the final stages this summer.
Flores is set to leave the Arsenal setup for the season, heading to Real Oviedo on a year-long loan deal that will see him exposed to much-needed domestic senior football.
The Mexican has already made his senior national team debut, and has his sights set on the World Cup squad ahead of the tournament in Qatar in November. The 18 year old will be hoping that his experience in Spain’s second tier helps him achieve just that.

Zinchenko pens Arsenal deal
Meanwhile, Oleksandr Zinchenko has signed his Arsenal contract, in essence confirming his move to north London from Manchester City as he joins the club for a fee of £30m, following the same path as Gabriel Jesus did earlier in the summer.

The Ukrainian will become Mikel Arteta’s fourth signing of the summer, following Jesus, Fabio Vieira and Matt Turner to the club, and is set to offer options both as competition to Kieran Tierney at left-back and to Granit Xhaka in central midfield ahead of the new season.
The Gunners are expected to continue strengthening too, despite being the first Premier League club to exceed £100m spent this summer, with a winger and another midfielder reportedly on the cards in north London.
