An explanation for the absence of Paul Pogba from the latest matchday squad selected by Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri has been provided on Thursday evening.
For those not aware, the Bianconeri are set to return to action in short order.
After slipping to a potentially costly defeat at the hands of AS Roma at the weekend, Allegri and co. have turned their attentions back towards matters on the continent.
A showdown with Bundesliga outfit SC Freiburg lies in wait, in the first of two Europa League Last-16 fixtures.
Just hours out from the action being kicked into gear in Turin, though, as alluded to above, Juventus were dealt something of a blow.
This came as confirmation was forthcoming that midfield star Paul Pogba would play no part in proceedings.

After finally marking his return to the pitch late last month on the back of a lengthy injury layoff, and featuring once more at the weekend, though, the former Manchester United man was widely expected to play a prominent role on Thursday night.
But this will not prove to be the case.
Instead, as confirmed by a hose of reliable sources, Pogba has been omitted from the Bianconeri’s latest matchday squad.
This comes owing a disciplinary breach, understood to have come in the form of a late arrival for duty this afternoon.
