Barcelona star Pedri has taken to social media late on Friday, to send a personal message to the club’s fanbase.
Barca, of course, marked their return to action a little over 24 hours ago.
Unbeaten in 16 across all competitions, Xavi and co. welcomed Manchester United to the Camp Nou, for the first leg of the highly-anticipated Europa League showdown between the two clubs.
And, when all was said and done in Catalunya, the two sides, it is fair to say, did not disappoint.
A pulsating 90 minutes ultimately saw the spoils shared in a 2-2 stalemate, setting the stage for another fascinating affair at Old Trafford in a week’s time.
What a game this is! 🤯

Amid an otherwise fine night of action, however, as alluded to above, one major source of concern was also forthcoming for Barcelona.
Ensuing medical tests have since confirmed that Pedri has suffered a hamstring injury, expected to spend the coming weeks on the sidelines as a result.
And now, as alluded to above, the 20-year-old has spoken out, revealing his appreciation for the many messages of support which he has received across the day to date, as well as confirming that he will provide ‘the most’ backing to his teammates over the weeks to come:
‘It has been a hard day, but thanks to your messages and expressions of affection it has been easier to bear. Now I only think about going back to the top.
‘From outside I will support the most. I have no doubt that the team will continue to give us joy these weeks.
