Jackson made the move to Chelsea from Villarreal over the summer.
Jackson was not expected to be Chelsea’s main no.9 but a lack of striking investment and injury to Christopher Nkunku means the Blues are looking at the 22-year-old to provide the goals.
However, things have not gone well for Jackson so far. He did score in the 3-0 win over Luton Town.
But he has missed some major chances in Chelsea’s other three games this season.
The latest came on Saturday as Chelsea fell to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest.
Speaking about his striker after the match, Mauricio Pochettino said: “I think in the future we will be talking differently. He needs time to adapt to the Premier League. He is doing a fantastic job but scoring is not easy.
