Chelsea faced off with Liverpool last Sunday in their opening game of the 2023/24 Premier League season.
The Blues were looking to start life under Mauricio Pochettino with a bang but had to settle for a 1-1 draw with the Reds.
Despite settling for a point, Chelsea still looked very sharp, mainly in the second half, and the signs for the future were bright.
However, Chelsea were dealt a big blow during the match as Reece James was subbed off in the second half with an injury.
James has had a number of injury issues over the last few years and both Chelsea fans and FPL players were eagerly awaiting an update on the full-back from Mauricio Pochettino when he spoke at his press conference on Friday.
When asked about James on Friday, the Chelsea boss said: “It’s a hamstring. It’s not a few days, a few weeks maybe.”
