A fresh insight into the personnel situation in Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool squad has been provided late on Thursday evening.
The Reds, of course, are primed to mark their return to action this weekend.
Fresh off an alarming Premier League defeat at the hands of Brentford earlier in the week, Liverpool will turn their attentions towards matters in the FA Cup.
With their sights set on a place in the competition’s 4th round, the Merseysiders are set to welcome Julen Lopetegui’s Wolverhampton Wanderers to Anfield.
The headline talking point in the Liverpool camp ahead of the clash has come in the form of the potential debut set to be afforded to Cody Gakpo, widely tipped to be thrown into the action from the off on Saturday on the back of his winter arrival from PSV Eindhoven.

On the flip side, though, three members of Klopp’s ranks also appear to be in real danger of missing out against Wolves.
Virgil van Dijk, as expected, was also absent, though Jordan Henderson was spotted back amongst the group.
