Rafael Leao injury latest ahead of Champions League Milan Derby

A fresh insight into the wellbeing of AC Milan star Rafael Leao has come to the fore online on Sunday.

For those who may have missed it, wide-man Leao set pulses racing across the Milan fanbase a little over 24 hours ago.

This came upon the Portuguese international limping out of the Rossoneri’s crunch Serie A showdown with Lazio, with just ten minutes on the clock.

With Milan just four days out from the first-leg of their Champions League semi-final clash with fierce rivals Inter, concern surrounding Leao’s availability, in turn, spread like wildfire.

Speaking to the media on the back of his side’s crucial 2-0 victory on Saturday, Stefano Pioli, for one, was keen to quell fears, in assuring that Leao was suffering from little more than ‘fatigue’.
