Ralf Rangnick spoke to the press on Friday afternoon ahead of Manchester United’s next outing.
Man United will face off with Norwich at Old Trafford in one of several 3 pm ties taking place this Saturday.
Rangnick discussed a number of topics in his presser, including team news.
Raphael Varane, Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay have been missing for a few weeks now, whilst Fred also suffered an injury in United’s loss to Everton last weekend.
And when speaking on Friday, Rangnick confirmed all of the above players remain out, whilst Shaw could miss the remainder of the current campaign:
#MUFC team news for tomorrow’s game against Norwich. Fred, McTominay, Varane, Cavani and Shaw all out. Would be a surprise to see the latter again this season. Rangnick expects him to be out for ‘four or five weeks.’

Elsewhere, Rangnick was asked about the small protest which took place outside the United’s training ground on Friday:
Rangnick: “I still believe our supporters are one of the best, if not the best in England, as long as they do the protest in a peaceful way and as long as they still support the team in the stadium. Emotionally I can understand them being disappointed.”

Manchester United vs Norwich
Manchester United head into the Norwich game on a simply woeful run of form.
The Red Devils have won one of their last five league matches, a run which has seen United slip down to 7th in the Premier League.
And whilst Wolves have played one more game than United, there is a danger Bruno Lage’s side – currently two points adrift – could knock Manchester United out of the top-seven, which would mean no European football next season.
However, as bad as United have been, it is hard to see them losing to a Norwich side who have a -43 goal difference.
