Rangers manager Philippe Clement is staying put in Glasgow after signing a new contract until 2028.
The 50-year-old joined in October last year and went on to win the League Cup in his debut campaign.
He could only muster second place in the Scottish Premiership but the Belgian says he is ready to give his all again to try and dethrone rivals Celtic in 2024-25.
The former Club Bruges and Monaco head coach added he is thinking more about the long-term project with Rangers.
But it is good news for the Scottish fans, a week before the new season begins.
Clements said: “At the end of May, we had more and more talks and you feel the alignment.
“The club said that they wanted to be sure that I would stay for the longer term, that they wanted that in many ways, not only to coach a team or to train a team but also for the other things around.
“I feel good here. I love this place, I love this club, I love the city, I love the fans, I love the atmosphere in Ibrox or the fans who are in the away games.
“It was my feeling also to do it longer term and not to sit and wait until something more interesting comes in my mind. I really want to give all my best every second for this club because I want to be here.”
Clement has sanctioned plenty of departures this summer, including the likes of John Lundstram and Kemar Roofe, but has been replacing them accordingly.
They must hit the ground running if they are to win the SPL ahead of Brendan Rodgers’ side and not hand over any silly draws or losses in the opening weeks.
