Scottish giants Rangers have, late on Thursday, sealed a high-profile deal for a member of the first-team setup at Norwich City.
The Canaries star primed for an imminent move to Ibrox? Todd Cantwell.
On the back of a hit-and-miss first half of the campaign to date, speculation surrounding the future of attacking midfielder Cantwell had begun to ramp up again over the last couple of weeks.
This comes with the 24-year-old, once widely considered a breakout star in the making, having been afforded starts in just nine of Norwich’s 2022/2023 Championship fixtures.

The aforementioned Rangers, on the lookout for reinforcements through the middle, in turn, opened negotiations with their counterparts at Carrow Road earlier this week.
And now, late on Thursday, it appears as though the Gers have struck gold.
This comes after the transfer team at Ibrox beat out competition from a number of Championship clubs for the ex-England youth international.
New head coach Michael Beale, meanwhile, is understood to have been ‘heavily involved’ in convincing Cantwell of the merits of a move to Scotland.
