An update on the wellbeing of Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. has come to the fore on Sunday evening.
And the news will no doubt come as a major source of concern for supporters of Los Blancos.
For those who may have missed it, wide-man Vinicius sent alarm bells ringing across the Spanish capital a little over 48 hours ago.
This came upon the Brazilian international being forced into a premature departure from Real’s La Liga meeting with Celta Vigo.
En route to a hard-fought 1-0 win, Vinicius lasted just 15 minutes, before hobbling off, after attempting to run off what appeared to be a leg problem.

Ensuing updates proved something of a mixed bag, amid an anxious wait for a definitive diagnosis on the 23-year-old.
As per a report from Diario AS, Vinicius’ injury has proven to be ‘more serious’ than was initially thought.
He has therefore been pencilled in for an MRI on Monday, at which point it will become clear just how long Carlo Ancelotti is set to be without his attacking talisman.
This, of course, comes with both Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao already sidelined long-term.
