Real Madrid have decided not to sign another striker this summer despite having lost Karim Benzema, it has been reported, with Los Blancos willing to wait for Kylian Mbappe next summer.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side have already agreed a deal to sign Joselu this summer as a replacement for the outgoing Mariano Diaz, but were widely expected to sign a second striker too, with the likes of Harry Kane, Kai Havertz and Victor Osimhen all having been linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu already this summer.
Matters are complicated by the impending arrival of teenage superstar Endrick in 2024, having agreed a deal to sign the Brazilian earlier in the year.
According to Spanish outlet Marca, this means that they have taken the decision not to sign another striker before the new season, with Kylian Mbappe still the no.1 target for 2024.

It comes as Mbappe has refused the contract extension written into his PSG deal, meaning that once again he could be available on a free transfer next summer.
Already having been burned by this situation once in 2022, when the French superstar opted to prolong his stay in Paris, Real Madrid are nonetheless seemingly ready to run the risk once more in a bid to finally get their man.
“Many things can happen in one year, especially in a club like PSG”, he added.
Long-time seemingly destined to end up at Real Madrid, Mbappe will finally have the chance to make the move next summer, but going on what happened 12 months ago it is a risky move from Los Blancos.
