An insight into the plans of the powers that be at Spanish champions Real Madrid for Rayo Vallecano defender Fran Garcia has been provided late on Friday evening.
Those of a Real persuasion will of course be well accustomed to the name of stopper Garcia.
This comes with the Blancos youth product having departed the Spanish capital on a permanent basis in the summer of 2021, on the back of a successful loan stint with the aforementioned Rayo.
And Garcia has since only gone on to impress ever further, piquing attentions amongst those back at the Bernabeu.
This past summer saw it widely reported across the Spanish media that Real were interested in luring their ex-left-back back to the club, to provide cover for first-choice option Ferland Mendy.

This comes with the Champions League holders boasting a buyback clause on Garcia.
As per a report from Spanish outlet Diario AS, Los Merengues are ‘very likely’ to activate their option to buy Garcia back upon the completion of the term.
