The latest social media activity on the part of Chelsea star Reece James has piqued widespread attentions on Thursday evening.
This comes after the defender responded to a somewhat unusual request, by way of an Arsenal fan.
Business, of course, has already taken place between the respective boards at Arsenal and Chelsea this summer.
Just 24 hours ago, Kai Havertz’s move to the former was made official, in a deal with the potential to rise to a hefty £65 million.

With another member of the first-team setup at Stamford Bridge primed to do likewise in linking up with a direct Premier League rival – Mason Mount to Manchester United – a member of the Arsenal faithful, in turn, this evening chanced his arm, in calling for another member of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad to swap west London for north.
The fan in question took to Twitter, to post the following:
One individual, however, who quickly did say no, was none other than James himself.
In a direct response to the comment in question, defender James left little room for interpretation in assuring that:
‘I say no.’
