An insight into the status of Chelsea summer signings Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia for the club’s weekend fixture has been forthcoming on Friday.
Mauricio Pochettino’s troops, of course, are set to kick their early-season endeavours back into gear this Sunday.
After battling their way to a credible point against Liverpool on opening day, the Blues will turn attentions towards a first London derby of the term, when they make the trip to the London Stadium for a meeting with West Ham United.
In the buildup to the capital clash, though, it is not their side’s endeavours on the pitch which have found themselves on the lips of Chelsea supporters the world over.
Instead, this has come in the form of the Pensioners’ endeavours away from it, in the boardroom.
After striking a long-awaited record-breaking deal for Brighton & Hove Albion standout Moises Caicedo last weekend, Todd Boehly and co. followed up with another big-money midfield swoop in midweek, landing Romeo Lavia from Southampton.

Well, as alluded to above, as much has been confirmed on Friday.
As per James Savundra of Sky Sports News, both Caicedo and Lavia have been registered in time to feature for Chelsea against West Ham on Sunday.
It now remains to be seen whether Mauricio Pochettino deems it wise to throw one, or both, in from the off in east London.
