The Champions League group stage has been concluded and the following teams have made it through:

Bayern Munich, SL Benfica, Chelsea, Club Brugge Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, Inter Milan, RB Leipzig, Liverpool, Manchester City, AC Milan, SSC Napoli, Paris Saint-Germain, FC Porto, Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur.

Ahead of Monday’s draw (12PM CET), each team’s most likely opponents have been calculated.

The calculations take into account that clubs from the same group and the same association cannot face each other.

Bearing this in mind, every outcome is no longer equal as clubs are limited as to who they can draw which has an impact on the rest of the draw.

Liverpool

Liverpool will not enjoy the results of the calculation with Bayern Munich their most likely opposition.

Back in 2019 during their run to win the competition, Liverpool managed to defeat Bayern, but given their form this season, a repeat feels unlikely this time around.

Despite defeating Napoli on matchday six, Jürgen Klopp’s men finished runners-up in Group A.

Chelsea

Romelu Lukaku could make a controversial return to Stamford Bridge this season but for wearing the colours Inter Milan.

The Italians are Chelsea’s most likely opponents in the next round followed by the three German clubs Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig.

The Blues managed to top Group E with Graham Potter guiding them to four wins out of his five games in charge.

Manchester City

Manchester City should be looking at the remaining 15 other clubs and seriously fancy their chances of ending their long wait for the European Cup.

PSG and Real Madrid seem to be the toughest opponents remaining in the competition, but even these two have shown frailties this season.

For the Premier League champions, Inter Milan are also their most likely outcome followed closely by Eintracht Frankfurt, RB Leipzig and AC Milan.

Pep Guardiola’s team will be confident of comfortably defeating any of those clubs.

Tottenham Hotspur FC

Tottenham Hotspur managed to secure top spot in Group D in dramatic fashion with a 95th-minute winner against Marseille.

Subsequently, Antonio Conte could make a dramatic return to San Siro to face his former side Inter Milan.

Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and AC Milan are the other likely outcomes.

Spurs will be desperate to avoid PSG who ended up runners-up in their group behind SL Benfica.
