An insight into the expected return timeline of sidelined Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has been provided on Thursday evening.
The name of Belgian international De Bruyne, of course, has found itself front and centre in the headlines on the blue half of Manchester across the week to date.
Unfortunately for the former Wolfsburg talent, however, this has come for altogether less than positive reasons.
In just the latest in what feels like a never-ending string of injury problems for the Belgian, De Bruyne was forced to limp out of City’s opening day Premier League drubbing of Burnley last weekend.

Ensuing tests confirmed a serious hamstring injury, which would require the 32-year-old to go under the knife.
And, as alluded to above, on Thursday, an insight into just how long this procedure is likely to keep KDB sidelined for has been forthcoming.
The midfield maestro’s surgery is set to take place in Antwerp, Belgium, at some point over the coming days.
