An insight into the injury return timetable awaiting Barcelona star Pedri has been provided on Thursday evening.
For those not aware, midfielder Pedri is in the midst of a spell on the treatment table at present.
After being forced into a premature departure from Barca’s La Liga meeting with Cadiz two weeks ago, the Blaugrana released an ensuing statement, confirming that the club’s engine room sensation was set for a stretch on the sidelines:
‘FC Barcelona first team player Pedri has sustained a right quadriceps injury. He is unavailable for selection and his recovery will determine his return.’
Pedri, in turn, has since gone on to sit out his side’s clashes with both Villarreal and Osasuna.

Just when, though, could the Barcelona faithful see an absolutely integral member of Xavi Hernandez’s squad back on the pitch?
This comes amid claims that Pedri is not yet close to a return.
Instead, as per a report from the reliable Javi Miguel, the 20-year-old is expected to miss seven more of Barca’s outings, pencilled in for a comeback date of October 22nd, against Athletic Club:
