The midfield enjoyed a sensational World Cup despite La Celeste’s poor performances.

He came off with an injury after just 34 minutes with an injury leaving Tottenham fans worried about his fitness.

It is set to be good news for Rodrigo Bentancur who is expected to make a quick recovery from injury.

He has suffered just a small tear and should be good to go again soon.

The 25-year-old is already back in London and will return to action at Christmas, according to reports.

Bentancur has been key for Antonio Conte’s team this season with five goals and many impressive performances.

Spurs fans will be delighted with the news given just how important the Uruguayan has been for them.
