Manchester City have taken home over £250m this season thanks to their astonishing treble-winning campaign, which was crowned with a Champions League final win over Inter Milan on Saturday night.
Pep Guardiola’s side made history as Rodri fired them to a narrow 1-0 win over the Italian giants in Istanbul, equalling their Manchester rivals and becoming the second English side to win a treble including a European Cup and Premier League title (United managed it in 1999).

It crowned an impressive season on the pitch amid financial doping charges off it, and netted them a handy sum in the process.
For scooping the Champions League trophy on Saturday night, City have been awarded £17m, £4m more than the defeated Inter Milan.
It takes their total takings for Europe’s top contest to a massive £80m when TV money and progression prize money is all totalled up.
Meanwhile, their FA Cup win over Manchester United also helped line the coffers, with a further £4m coming in thanks to Ilkay Gundogan’s two goals at Wembley.
By contrast, second-placed Arsenal are thought to have taken home £160m for coming second in the Premier League, while the benefits of Europe’s Premier competition are clear to see as West Ham took home just £14.1m for their UEFA Conference League success.
Having now completed their long-awaited aim of success on the European stage, City are expected to strengthen significantly this summer in a bid to create a dynasty at the Etihad Stadium, and the money taken in from this season’s exploits will certainly come in handy for that.
