West Ham United and Olympique Lyonnais are both making strong attempts to sign Dan-Axel Zagadou.
The defender is a free agent after leaving Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
The 23-year-old could be an astute pick-up for either club as the defender was a key player for Dortmund prior to his injury troubles last season.
West Ham in pole position
