Arsenal are looking to wrap up as many as four signings this week as their summer transfer window heads into overdrive at the beginning of July.

The Gunners have shown no shortage of ambition so far this summer after losing out to Manchester City in the Premier League title race, and have already signed Chelsea attacker Kai Havertz in a deal worth £65m, just shy of their record fee (which stands at £72m when they signed Nicolas Pepe in 2019).

Their business has not stopped there, however, and they are expected to announce two more new arrivals in north London this week.

The club are putting the finishing touches in a record £105m bid for West Ham and England star Declan Rice, having fought off interest from Manchester City. Meanwhile, they are also closing in on a £40m move for Ajax defender Jurrien Timber, who has been given permission to head to London for a medical by the Dutch club.

Additionally, there will likely be further good news at the Emirates Stadium this week. This will come in the form of new contracts, with William Saliba finally due to pen his new four-year contract at the club.

He is not alone, and Reiss Nelson is also expected to sign a new four-year deal with the Gunners (with the option for an extra year), though he is currently a free agent after his current deal expired at the beginning of July.
