A fresh insight into the wellbeing of Chelsea star Reece James has come to the fore online on Friday evening.
This comes, for those who may have missed it, after defender James set pulses racing across the Blues’ fanbase earlier today.
As revealed by Chelsea insider Nizaar Kinsella, the England international was forced to undergo a medical scan on his knee, as a ‘precaution’.
With James having of course spent lengthy stretches of the last couple of seasons on the sidelines, panic, in turn, quickly set in in west London.

It will therefore no doubt come as a major source of relief to hear that the scan in question did not unveil any issue of note.
As per Simon Johnson of The Athletic, James is viewed as ‘fine’, and will therefore be part of the travelling Chelsea party bound for the United States of America this coming Monday.
As part of their pre-season tour of the US, Mauricio Pochettino’s side are pencilled in for meetings with all of Wrexham, Brighton & Hove Albion, Newcastle United, Fulham and Borussia Dortmund.
As per @NizaarKinsella, Reece James has had a scan after feeling a bit of pain in his knee. But I’m told he’s fine and good to go on #CFC’s pre-season tour. More here: https://t.co/613DL6h20e
