Arsenal signed Germany forward Kai Havertz from Chelsea on a five-year deal until 2028 for £65m at the end of last month.
The 24-year-old spent three years at Stamford Bridge after joining from Bayer Leverkusen for £71m.
Havertz scored 19 goals in 91 Premier League appearances and hit the winner in the 2021 Champions League final against Manchester City whilst on the west London outfit’s books.
Now, an insight into when Arsenal fans could see Havertz don their shirt for the first time has been revealed.
According to the Evening Standard, Havertz is hoping to make his first appearance for Arsenal this week.
The Gunners travelled to Germany on Sunday for a pre-season training camp and face Nurnberg on Thursday. Havertz is part of a 30-man squad that will be training at Adidas’ headquarters in Herzogenaurach.
