An insight into the planned return of Lionel Messi to training at club level has been provided late on Saturday.
The name of iconic attacker Messi, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines across world football over the course of the last week.
This comes after the 35-year-old added the final piece of the puzzle to what is now widely regarded as the greatest career in football history.
After falling at the final hurdle back in 2014, Messi on this occasion was not to be denied, clinching World Cup glory with Argentina to further cement his ‘GOAT’ status.

Turning attentions away from matters on the international front, though, what of the veteran attacker’s club situation?
Once the buzz from his latest triumph on the world stage has died down, Messi will be expected to lead the charge at Paris Saint-Germain, amid the club’s ongoing efforts to secure a first-ever Champions League crown.
The info comes courtesy of journalist Ben Jacobs, who has revealed that Messi is not expected back in Paris for training until early next month.
From here, discussions will be kicked into gear surrounding the possibility of a new contract being agreed between the two parties.
