The agent of AC Milan star Sandro Tonali has, on Friday, provided an update on his client’s imminent move to the Premier League, with Newcastle United.
The name of midfielder Tonali, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the European headlines across the week to date.
This comes after the Newcastle brass, out of the blue, struck a big-money agreement with their counterparts at Milan, over the signing of the Italian international.
A deal for a sum with the potential to rise as high as €80 million, in turn, has long been on the verge of completion, with Tonali set to add further bite and quality to an increasingly impressive midfield under the watch of Eddie Howe.
