The midfielder’s performance have earned him interest from some of the continent’s biggest clubs such as Real Madrid, Man City and Liverpool.
But, according to the latest update from ESPN, it is Jurgen Klopp’s side who are currently leading the race to sign the player and here’s why…

Liverpool are understood to be forging a close relationship with the player’s camp which could convince him to select a move to Anfield.
It is also claimed that the Reds’ framework over a deal to bring him to Merseyside is starting to take shape.
Dortmund are open to selling the midfielder although that is only likely to happen next summer, rather than in January.
The German club value him between €100 million-€150million.
But despite Liverpool putting in the work to land him, the race to sign the 19-year-old is set to intense closer to next summer.
