It has been a hugely dramatic week for Tottenham Hotspur with two stoppage-time winners and late VAR drama.

Spurs were denied a late winner against Sporting CP by VAR before claiming victories away at both Bournemouth and Marseille.

The task was made much tougher for Antonio Conte’s side who were missing several key players due to injury.

Richarlison, Dejan Kulusevski and Cristian Romero have all been missing, whilst Heung-min Son has now been added to the list of injuries.

Ahead of the final 9 days before the World Cup break, here is the latest on the trio’s expected return dates:

Richarlison

Richarlison is close to returning from a calf injury.

After returning to training he is likely to take a few days until he is available again.

He will therefore miss the league match against Liverpool but return against Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup.

Dejan Kulusevski

Tottenham are hopeful that Dejan Kulusevski will return before the World Cup break, according to Standard Sport.

The Swede is already back training outdoors and is now closing in on a return to action.

He has been missing since the international break back in September which has seen him miss 10 matches.

Cristian Romero

The Daily Mail report Cristian Romero has suffered a muscle strain that is expected to keep him out until the World Cup.

This means the Argentine will miss Spurs’ final three games before the tournament against Liverpool, Leeds and Nottingham Forest.

Heung-min Son’s first half of the season looks to be over after he suffered a fractured cheekbone.

The South Korean’s World Cup involvement is also in doubt, although he could still feature sporting a face mask.

He is due to undergo surgery in the coming days.
