Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have taken to social media late on Saturday, to celebrate the club’s latest remarkable achievement.
The upset of the FA Cup’s third round, of course, took place a short time ago.
This came as National League outfit Wrexham made the trip to the west Midlands, for what looked a daunting test, up against Championship side Coventry City.
When all was said and done, though, the evening’s visitors defied the odds, in nothing short of spectacular fashion.
Goals on the part of all of Sam Dalby, Elliot Lee, Thomas O’Connor and Paul Mullin guided Wrexham into dreamland, boasting a 4-1 advantage just shy of the hour mark.

And though Coventry did make it interesting late on courtesy of both a 2nd and 3rd, in the end, it was simply not to be for the Sky Blues, who were sent packing from England’s most historic cup competition in nothing short of embarrassing fashion.
And leading the way, as alluded to above, have been the club’s two high-profile owners.
Taking to their respective Twitter accounts late on Saturday evening, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney made clear both their shock and deep pride at the mammoth achievement of their beloved club:
I’m completely and totally speechless. What a club. What a town. What a win. @Wrexham_AFC forever. https://t.co/9SzQUAVAX2
