Saints manager Rubén Sellés comes into yet another critical weekend on the south coast as the club remains rooted at the bottom of the Premier League table and remains favorites to avoid the drop. To get back on track, Sellés still has to contend with another set of election headaches.
Juan Larios has been ruled out for the rest of the season with due to injury, which at the very least is a hammer blow to the club’s depth options. Young right-back Tino Livramento also remains ruled out with injury, while there are new concerns surrounding highly-touted Belgian international midfielder Romeo Lavia after he was forced off with an injury against Manchester City. He now faces a late assessment to gauge any potential involvement.
Mohammed Salisu and Ché Adams both were absent when the club lost against Manchester City, but thankfully for Sellés, they have an outside chance of being involved on Saturday.
