Erik Ten Hag has not ruled out bringing in more signings to Man United before the end of the transfer window, saying ‘we can’t stand still.’
The Dutchman has been busy this summer with Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee and Lille defender Leny Yoro signed last month.
Ten Hag was then reunited with his former Ajax defenders Matthijs De Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui earlier this week after a double deal with Bayern Munich.

Asked by Roy Keane on Sky Sports if he had his eyes on any more incomings before the end of the transfer window on August 30, Ten Hag said: “Roy, we can’t stand still.
“It depends on what happens in the market, but I’m happy with the squad. I’m quite confident coming into the season.”
He added: “The previous years it was my squad so that doesn’t change. We developed young players they are more mature, they contribute and we are happy. Also, it fits through the DNA of Man Utd to bring young players up.
“We have brought players in and it fits our style.”
Speaking ahead of the Premier League opener against Fulham at Old Trafford, ten Hag also revealed there was ‘good spirit’ behind the scenes after a post-season review of the managerial structure saw the club’s new board back Ten Hag as the right man to lead the Red Devils into the season.
“Things have changed (off the field),” he said. “We collaborate very good. The structure is good, with a lot of communication. We’re all on one page, and on board.
“We work together and that feels good. There is good spirit.”
