Footage of Manchester United star Wout Weghorst, stemming from the club’s FA Cup triumph over Brighton & Hove Albion, has come to the fore late on Sunday evening.
United, of course, kicked the club’s pursuit of a domestic cup double back into action earlier today.
With a League Cup title already in the bag, Erik ten Hag’s troops made the trip to Wembley, for an FA Cup semi-final showdown with the aforementioned Brighton.
And, when all was said and done, the Red Devils, just, got the job done, booking a showpiece meeting with neighbours Man City in the process.
After the two sides could not be separated across a full 120 minutes, a tense penalty shootout ensued, with Victor Lindelof proving himself the hero in slotting away Man United’s 7th and final spot-kick.

Lindelof’s decisive effort came about after Solly March became the first, and only penalty taker to fluff his lines, blazing a dismal left-footed effort some way clear of the crossbar.
Fresh off slotting away his own penalty, United’s on-loan frontman approached March, to hand the ball over to the Brighton wide-man.
Just before doing so, though, Weghorst laid a kiss on the ball, evidently in the hope of swinging luck in his side’s favour.
And the rest, as they say, is history…
