A fresh insight into the long-standing interest of Premier League giants Arsenal in the signature of Shakhtar Donetsk sensation Mykhailo Mudryk has been forthcoming on Thursday evening.
The name of wide-man Mudryk, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines across the continent over the course of the season to date.
This comes with the 21-year-old, hotly tipped for a move to both the Premier League and Serie A during the summer, having begun to showcase his immense talents on European football’s biggest stage.
Across appearances in all six of Shakhtar’s Champions League group stage outings, Mudryk directly contributed to five goals.
The latest of these came late last month, courtesy of a spectacular last-gasp equaliser at Celtic Park:

In turn, it has come as little surprise to hear of interest in Mudryk’s signature beginning to mount once more, ahead of the January transfer window swinging open.
The info comes courtesy of transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who has confirmed that Premier League table-toppers remain altogether keen to lure Mudryk to north London.
To this point, the Gunners have not gone as far as to table an opening offer for the talented attacker.
This comes with those in a position of power at Shakhtar having laid out their demands of a sum in the region of €70 million for the club’s crown jewel.
Arsenal, though, remain hard at work behind the scenes, in constant contact with Mudryk’s representatives.
Though such an outcome is far from certain, it is therefore reiterated that, in the case of a suitable bid being submitted, Mikel Arteta and co. could land their man as early as this coming January.
