‘Torture’ – Man United fans slam one player during Burnley clash

Supporters of Premier League giants Manchester United have taken to social media in numbers on Saturday evening, to make their frustrations with one member of Erik ten Hag’s squad clear.

United, of course, are currently locked in action.

Fresh off a trio of defeats either side of the international break, the Red Devils have made the trip to Turf Moor, desperate for a return to winning ways in a Premier League meeting with Burnley.

As things stand late in the first-half in Lancashire, though, the visitors, once more, have struggled.

The two sides remain deadlocked at 0-0, after Jonny Evans saw what looked set to prove a crucial opener ruled out by VAR.

None, though, has been quite as widely targeted as Scott McTominay.

Thrown in from the off once more amid the ongoing injury crisis facing the Red Devils, Scottish international McTominay has failed to step up to the plate in the middle of the park, culminating in nothing short of a ruthless backlash across social media:
