Tottenham have announced the signing of Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth.

The 26-year-old joins on a six-year deal, keeping him in North London until 2030.

Spurs had to fork out £65million including add-ons for the England international.

Solanke scored 19 goals in the Premier League last term, making him the fourth-highest scorer in the division.

Having struggled to make an impact at both Chelsea and Liverpool, the powerful forward now gets the chance to impress at a top six club again.

Solanke made 216 appearances across all competitions for the Cherries, scoring 77 times.

That included against Spurs last term, in the stadium he will now call home.

He will be present at Spurs’ pre-season match against Bayern Munich today before joining up ahead of their Premier League opener against Leicester next Monday.
