An alleged transfer target identified by the powers that be at Tottenham Hotspur has today hinted that he would be interested in linking up with Antonio Conte’s troops in the new year.
The player in question? Ruslan Malinovskyi.
Midfielder Malinovskyi, of course, was hotly tipped to make the move to north London throughout the summer transfer window.
After slipping somewhat down the pecking order at current club Atalanta, the Ukrainian international was earmarked by Antonio Conte and co. as a potentially impactful addition to the attacking midfield ranks at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

In the end, evidently, such a move failed to come to fruition, with Malinovskyi having therefore been left with little choice but to stay put.
Amid fresh speculation that Spurs are considering a January proposal for his services, though, the 29-year-old has on Friday hinted that he would jump at the chance to take his talents to England’s capital.
It now remains to be seen whether Fabio Paratici and the transfer team on the Lilywhite half of north London go on to make Malinovskyi’s Spurs-shaped dreams come true.
